Shraddha Sadan Pvt. Ltd. registered in the company registration office, Kathmandu in 2078 Baisakh, and commenced its service from Mangsir 2078 BS (December 2021). Shraddha Sadan is a premier Elderly Care Home nestled in the serene city of Pokhara, Nepal. Our foundation is built on a deep commitment to provide exceptional care and fostering a compassionate environment for senior citizens. At Shraddha Sadan, we go beyond traditional care, offering a nurturing environment where residents feel valued, respected, loved and at home.
In our home residents will receive the care they deserve from passionate, loving and caring staffs where they can rest, relax and enjoy the difference.
Our home has purpose-built rooms for residential service. Outdoor is surrounded by greenery where you can feel close to the nature with bird chirping and beautiful snowy mountain view.
We have well experienced team of diverse profession which includes nurses, doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist and on the top group of people devoted in the social service since long time.

Why Shraddha Sadan ?
It is natural for everyone to expect to live a happy and healthy life till the old age/end of life. We all dream of an old age with independence, dignity, good health and gratitude. Anyone living in any part of the world should have the opportunity to live a long and healthy life. Elderly people will not be healthy and happy if their care is simply limited in fulfilling basic requirement/needs.
But, rapidly changing social system in Nepal; e.g., single family trend, busy family members, migration from rural to urban and abroad, and many more has created difficult situation for older people, leaving them alone at home.
The 69th World Health Assembly in May 2016 adopted Global strategy and action plan on ageing and health to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience a long and healthy life. Which provides a political mandate to every country to take necessary action for healthy ageing.
Along with this, WHO has announced Decade of healthy ageing from 2021 – 2030
So, we are here with “Shraddha Sadan” to work hand in hand:
To support government on its plans and programs to promote the welfare of senior citizens.
To achieve SDG 2030,
To meet the goal of healthy ageing decade 2021- 2030
We established Shraddha Sadan with a heartfelt mission — to build more than just a care home. We wanted to create a place where they feel valued, safe, and emotionally connected.
Our Leaders
Our board consists of 7 board members and 2 advisors, who have extensive experience in different development and service sectors including leadership roles, social welfare, micro financing, entrepreneurship, elderly care, legal and nursing service. The board is leading the Shraddha Sadan Pvt. Ltd for its smooth operation, management, success and expansion.
